The City of Pooler Development Authority is pleased to announce the expansion of the Façade Grant Program. This program was developed to encourage businesses located in the City’s Main Street Corridor to improve the exterior appearance of their buildings, storefronts, and signage to align with the standards of the Main Street Overlay District and the recommendations of the Main Street Master Plan. The program has been expanded to include all commercial properties along the Highway 80 frontage in the City of Pooler.
The program is designed to retain and attract businesses, strengthen the aesthetics of the corridor, increase utilization of existing businesses, and enhance economic vitality along Highway 80 in the City of Pooler. The program offers up to $10,000 in direct grant funds to eligible participants to help finance exterior improvements to a commercial building. Awards do require a match of at least 50%.
