Legal Services

The City of Pooler Attorney provides legal advice and services to the City Manager, Mayor, City Council and City Staff to ensure that policies, recommendations and administrative procedures undertaken are within accepted legal standards. The City Attorney supervises the drafting of all ordinances and the preparation of legal documents, reviews and consults on city services and contracts, and provides legal opinions and counseling to the City Manager, Mayor, City Council and City Staff. At the direction of the City Manager, Mayor, or City Council, the City Attorneys Office provides appropriate representation for the City in all legal proceedings. The City Attorney would also supervise and manage any special counsel, which may be utilized for their specific knowledge and expertise.

City Attorney

Craig Call attended local schools in Savannah, graduating Magna Cum Laude from Armstrong-Atlantic State University in 2004. He attended Florida Coastal School of Law in Jacksonville, Florida where he was the recipient of a Governor’s Scholarship. Craig returned to Savannah in 2010, and began working with Scheer, Montgomery & Call, P.C. where he focuses on civil litigation, local government law, corporate/business law, and criminal defense.
