The City of Savannah has issued a partial lift for the boil advisory affecting customers in Chatham County due to elevated turbidity in the water supply. This lift is only partial and Pooler still remains under a boil advisory while safety testing is completed.
The areas in yellow are still undergoing Coliform bacteria testing. Results of these tests should be available Sunday. Pooler is still under a boil advisory and residents should continue to boil water until notice has been given by the City of Pooler that the advisory has been lifted.
To properly boil water:

- Fill a pot with water.
- Heat the water until bubbles come from the bottom of the pot to the top.
- Once the water reaches a rolling boil, let it boil for at least 1 minute.
- Turn off the heat source and let the water cool.

Pour the water into a clean container with a cover for storage.
