Weather Event | Erin – Updates & Resources

While Hurricane Erin is expected to stay well offshore, higher rain and storm chances are anticipated through the weekend. The National Weather Service (NWS) in Charleston issued a Flood Watch from Friday morning through late Saturday night for our county, with a risk of flash flooding due to heavy rainfall, especially in areas with saturated ground.

If You Experience Prolonged Drainage Issues
If you observe flooding, standing water, or drainage issues near your property or on roadways, please report it to Public Works at (912) 330-8650 during business hours or at (912) 414-4369 after hours.
