Public Notice | City of Pooler Receives $1.9 Million in Grant Funding for Storm Water Master Plan Development

The City of Pooler is proud to announce a grant award of over $1.9 million from FEMA through the Hazard Mitigation Grant Program to the City for development of a comprehensive Storm Water Master Plan. This plan will build on the City of Pooler’s ongoing drainage infrastructure improvements through a full stormwater model and data analysis. This invaluable information will be used to develop comprehensive framework for managing stormwater runoff and strategic stormwater drainage improvements.

The project has an approved total cost of $2,594,390.00 with a state share of $259,439 and a contribution of $389,158.50 from the City of Pooler. This cost includes full funding for management costs related to plan development.
